Why we recommend it
The Anker 25K is the only pick in this subcategory that charges a laptop properly; choose it over the INIU, Miady and MagGo when work on the plane matters more than weight.

Why it is our Premium Pick
Anyone who works from a laptop on planes and trains, or who travels as the designated charger for a family's worth of devices, is who the Anker 165W power bank serves. This is the bank for the person whose day falls apart when a laptop hits red at the gate.
The Premium slot is well earned: 165W of total output puts it in laptop territory, with enough headroom to run a notebook and a phone at the same time, and the 25,000 mAh capacity means it is far more than an emergency top-up. Travel + Leisure noted the same thing, calling it a bank that moves beyond the phone and into real work. It recharges quickly from a high-output GaN wall charger, so a short layover is enough to get it back on its feet.
A real example: a nine-hour flight with no seat power. The laptop charges from the Anker 165W power bank during a two-hour editing session, the phone draws from a second port during the movie, and there is still charge left to cover the taxi ride and hotel check-in. At the airport the next morning, it refills while you eat breakfast.
The cost is literal weight and airline rules. A bank this size is heavy enough to notice in a personal item, and large batteries sit close to the watt-hour thresholds airlines enforce, so check the Wh rating printed on the unit against your carrier's policy and always carry it in the cabin. Travelers who only need to charge a phone are paying for capacity they will never use; the INIU is lighter and far cheaper for that job.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to what travelers ask most about anker 25,000 mah 165w.
Is the Anker 25,000 mAh 165W power bank allowed on planes?
Power banks are allowed in carry-on luggage only, and most airlines permit batteries up to 100Wh without approval. A 25,000 mAh bank is typically rated below that threshold, but confirm the exact watt-hour figure on the unit or the Amazon listing and check your airline's policy before flying.
Will it charge a MacBook Pro?
Yes. With 165W total output it supports the charging rates that full-size laptops expect over USB-C, and it can charge a phone at the same time. The laptop's share drops when several devices draw power. Check the Amazon listing for current per-port output figures.
How long does it take to recharge the bank itself?
Noticeably less than a basic bank, provided you pair it with a high-output USB-C charger such as a 100W GaN block. From a low-power phone charger it will take much longer. Check the Amazon listing for the current input rating and recharge time.
